Botswana is a land of contrast: of the parched desert
and green delta. Here you can still find the timeless
views of the Africa of old with vast open grassy plains
with ancient woodlands where herds of elephant roam
and the luxuriant waterways and, lodges on this trip
are located in wonderful wilderness settings, generally
with splendid riverside views and with wildlife never
far away.
- Day 1: On
arrival in Maun, you will transfer by scheduled air
charter to either the Okavango or Moremi wildlife
area. Enjoy game viewing in the afternoon; will be
accompanied by a professional guide.

- Day 2: Morning and afternoon game viewing by mokoro (dugout
canoe) and or by a speed-boat on the Okavango Delta
where antelope feed silently at dusk, under a flaming
red African sunset. The game parks of Botswana receive
fewer tourists than the better known reserves in East
Africa, so conditions are often less exploited. Camp

- Day 3: You
will transfer by scheduled air charter to the Savuti
Region, where you will be met and transferred to Savuti
Safari Lodge. Savuti Safari Lodge has a high concentration
of lion and hyena, as well as leopard, cheetah, black-backed
jackal and many lone elephant bulls. Activities include
game drives in the Linyanti and Chobe National Park.

- Day 4: Morning
and afternoon viewing in the Linyati or Chobe National
Park; which covers an enormous wilderness area composed
of permanent swamps, islands, forest and dry land. Savuti

- Day 5: Transfer
by light aircraft to Kasane and onward by road to
the Chobe Game Lodge. At the Chobe Game Lodge, wildlife
roams in profusion and diversity. The elephant population,
estimated at 30,000, is the largest single concentration
in Africa. Afternoon game-viewing in the Chobe National
Park, Linyanti.

- Day 6: Enjoy
morning and afternoon game-viewing and; during the
harsh season the herds migrate south to north and
congregate along the fertile flood plains of perennial
Chobe River. Other major species such as lion, square-lipped
rhino, wild dog, sable and roan antelope are encountered
in many areas of the reserve. Chobe

- Day 7: You
will depart Chobe Game Lodge and transfer by road
to Kasane to connect with your onward flight.
